mexico problems go back to the spanish and their property right laws in the 1600s, If the english founded them they would be different

Would they go to a democracy where they would be poor forever? If so, sneak into Mexico or India. I don't think democracy is the determinative factor.

That wasn't my point... I was referring to moslum countries where people get their hands, tongues, or heads sliced off for whatever reason and where women are traded as slaves vs. a democracy where all people can enjoy freedoms and liberties... of course some democracies are poor, but I would choose a poor democracy over a wealthy moslum nation any day of the week, and I'm sure most people would too...
