If reed doesnot get picked i hope Eagle put him on practice squad, i know the team loves the kid's character hehas shown in his attempting to come back from an injury that doctors told him would be impossible to back from.( and unless i hear otherwise, i suspect isstill wearing that special brace On learning that Reed akick off retuner hadnever returned apunt, it is incredible Eagles went into game without a punt returner(aside from Westbrook) On viewing the plays with Lewis and Reed , it is obvious that they made mistakes a seasoned punt returner should never make, they were mistakes of players that simply didn't grasp their job because didn't have the experience. Lewis play was a manifest MUST signal fair catch, and with Reed it was an obvious , just get out the way andlet it roll( it probably would going out of bounds if left alone. It was a coaches bad mistake of us just having guys that never did punt returns( except Lewei a bit in preseason) Regards Reed fielding a punt it is altogher different than fielding a kick off. There depth chart last week only showed Reed as Dawkins back-up. Lito i gather is not likely to play next week, i guess James will play the position. Very good news and a near miracle, an emotional doctor that last the night announced the Buffalo player Everitt would never walk again, tonight VOLUNTARILY moved both his arms and legs. Doctor was asked if he would call it a miracle, said he would but hewould be attacked by his peers; but actually the doctor said Everitt received the new treatment, that of COOLING his body temperature down to significantly below normal temperature with ice or whatever immediately on arrival to hospital(or perhaps even in the ambulance)---this is a revolutionary treatment and has had tentaive successes on record.This success may be proof what cooling down body temperature. He says this gives hope for this new method in preventing paralysis in certain cases. The doctor was simply plain joyous. maxfield:)
