And I make no apologies about that. One additional comment. Please try to keep posts clean on this thread, as comments here are taken by some to paint anyone who thinks islam is in dire need of change as bigoted, when in fact my opinions are the same as many muslims who are speaking out around the world. One final thought: I would love nothing more than for every muslim on the planet to prove me wrong in my beliefs. I created this thread after posting news items on various "islam" threads only to be banned for posting the truth! Tolerance is not the strong suit of apologists of islam. This is a thread devoted to looking at islam. People are free to post here; I will not stoop to the level of stopping discourse from happening, but if this thread is taken over by people spreading MISinformation or DISinformation, name-calling, or political talk not germane to the subject being discussed,** they will be banned.
