Gas prices not food prices. I think anything that stops Americans from using their car as a prosthesis is a good thing. It makes me crazy that Americans have such an aversion to walking more than fifty feet away from their cars. I caught my former tenant waiting for a bus so she didn't have to walk two blocks back to the house once (she was coming home from the diabetes clinic where they were trying to convince her to get more exercise) but for the most part people who take public trans walk more.
