I've observed EXACTLY the same thing. There's enough room under those burkahs for a lot of explosive, but nobody seems to care about that more than the sensitivity of the person wearing it.


I've stopped now, due to the incredible hassle that TSA imposes on travelers. Enough of the rousting of 82 year old great-grandmothers, while young women in head to toe burkahs traipse through security with a nod and wink.

you get a 'tag' on your luggage when they've been spot searched/opened

and I've had two zippers busted when they've done it

I've been pulled out so many times for the 'random' search - once when going to europe, I got pulled out every time we switched planes - I had dark sunglasses on - Bob said ditch the damned shades, you look like a terrorist
