Good picks, though the Cars were a wee commercial for my taste...of course there's the Sex Pistols, the Buzzcocks, the Ramones and X too......Iggy Pop also made his best post Stooges records in the late 70's. A great time in music in retrospect, but at the time it seemed like AOR crap was all over the airwaves like a rash....Pink Floyd, Journey, Queen, Kansas, Van Halen, the over the hill period of Zeppelin, Lynyrd Skynnyrd and sundry Allman Brother copy bands.

I wouldn't mind if the price of gold gave an encore from that era, in real terms...<G>
