Well, folksy and dumb are two different things. I liked his and Rumsfeld's straight talk too, in the beginning. That's why I voted for him. But then I realized that he is an idiot and I didn't vote for him the second time around. That's the thing. We need politicians who are straight shooters, but we need them also to be intelligent and effective. It seems that straight shooter and intelligent don't often go together. Why is that?
