I have nothing against Newt, but I wonder if he shows leadership ability? Its one thing to be a Historian, its another to stir people to action. Frankly, there isnt a single Republican candidate I wouldnt support, although unlike others here Ron Paul would be my least favorite, if they won the primary, but I want to make sure the Republican candidate WINS the general election. I still think Rudy is our best shot, rather then Hillary I have to believe most Republicans, like him or not, will swallow their pride and vote for him and being sort of in the middle between conservative and liberal he OUGHT to draw a goodly number of independents and maybe even some Democrats. jdn
