My favorite writer responded just so,

Dear all,

I am very bad at writing but want to thank you all for very insightful comments. All of you have added a lot to my knowledge and understanding of economic and financial matters.

I have only one insight: the greatest global synchronized economic and asset market boom (bubbles everywhere) will lead to a colossal bust at some point whereby (siding with GaveKal) the US will probably through a total destruction of the dollar (who would know in the knowledge based economy????) suffer less in terms of asset deflation in nominal terms.

Kind regards and hope you are all well and also enjoying life aside from making money!

Was just in Zimbabwe and Victoria Falls is a must with river rafting and everyone of you needs to go bungie jumping from the Victoria Falls bridge….

TJ, that's funny: <Competitive devaluation is an absolute must of the age old script, just like the Korean soup operas, where boy meets girl, girl falls in love with boy's dad, boy finds out girl has fatal blood disease, and then father finds out boy and girl are long lost brother and sister. >

Competitive debasement has been the norm all my life and I expect it like breathing. The financial shenanigans of hedge fund, counter party, leveraged call option, backed by interest only sub-prime mortgage, third hand, are indeed like the Korean soup opera.
