It's like this Jim. Someone says the devil oppresses people. No one would really disagree with that except the devil. He would hold court and want to delve into the definition of oppression, what constitutes oppression, and how much pain can be applied before it becomes oppression. In other words try and obscure the obvious. Split hairs. The house is on fire or it's not. The degree of intensity of the flames or how hot the fire is doesn't change the fact that the house is on fire. We've moved into an era of human history where corporations are more powerful than people or governments. They control people and governments to produce more profit. And these corporations don't care who they hurt in their quest for profit. It's called globalization and stockholders are the last ones (like yourself) to see it's evil side but an oppressed sweat shop worker knows better than you the evils of uncontrolled corporations. It's going to continue to get worse until Jesus returns. Then corporations will be no more. It's way over your head.

Afghanistan under the Taliban. They weren't controlled by corporations. :-)

Sidney's definition of Paradise, I guess.
