I did 'do the math' (on the relative military/economic potentials of the Persians and Iraqi Shiites vs. the combined potentials of the much larger Sunni states that stand in opposition to them).

But, it looks like you are just *ignoring* the cold hard facts (in favor of getting 'scared' by empty political rhetoric).
