Wayne, My point is, if you have a consumption tax nationally, rich folks will make big purchases in other countries. Then, without huge customs taxes, they would once again rip off the working Americans.

I agree with energy taxes and cigarette and booze taxes. Even gambling taxes (it beats making gambling illegal). Besides, I kicked butt yesterday at simulcast, so Governor Perry stealing 17% didn't bother me quite as much as it usually does. <G>
