how can I explain something that doesn't exist? I knew you'd take the low road. You always do. You could have given a simple idea of what you think an empire is and shown how America doesn't fit. But that would be the honorable way of debating. An empire is a country that extends its own influence beyond its borders. The US does that militarily more than any other country in the world. Arguably, the US does that more than all other countries in the world combined. Tom
