American voters will change that when they seriously focus on the presidential election. The majority of citizens are bored by national politics on a daily basis. They start listening to candidates and making judgements re their character & competence about 4mo prior to a national election. Only political junkies are totally tuned in today, however blaring headlines catch everyone's attention, therefore "Fugitive Funnels Large Contributions to Hillary Clinton" has flown under the radar of very few voters.
