Ashdown will still yield more moly production per day from the high grade zone, than a mine running 4000 tpd of lower grade resources. Or to put it even more bluntly, the remnant moly grade in the tailings from the mill will still be much higher grade than the 'ore' at almost every other moly producer. Recently Ashdown processed their tailings and the results were in line with the previous thought. "Following several days of trial operation, these innovations are resulting in moly recoveries from the tailings pond ranging from 45-94%, with an average of 83%. Due to the exceptional head grades of the ore at Ashdown, the recycled tailings deliver feed ranging from 0.2 to 0.9% Mo (with an average of 0.51% Mo). Such grades are higher than most primary ore from comparable moly operations, allowing recovery of between 500 and 1500 pounds of concentrate per shift. Safety procedures require that hydraulic suctioning of material from the tailings pond occur only during daylight hours. Lot 11 will be sold this week with half of its 12 Supersacks comprised of moly recovered from the tailings pond. As anticipated, concentrates produced from the tailings contained lower Mo and higher copper (Cu) compared to concentrates produced from fresh ore. No suppression of Cu was attempted since the tailings were run for quantity of saleable material, with the quality of the product being a secondary consideration." The Sylvia Vein of Golden Phoenix Minerals may be the richest known moly deposit in existence. In fact, the ore is so rich in moly content that it will take 59 truckloads of Adanac’s richest ore and 68 truckloads of Idaho General’s richest ore to equal the value of just one truckload of ore from Ashdown. The other companies have to do nearly 60 or 70 times the work to generate the same amount of revenue. That requires a lot of extra manpower, equipment, maintenance and fuel, and that explains why the other companies have to build mills that process 20,000 to 40,000 tons of ore. Otherwise they could never keep up with the profits generated from Golden Phoenix’s little 100 ton per day mill. I just came back from the mine. IT'S BUYING TIME........
