While the attention is on oil, food isn't. US drivers can't change their driving habits, thus can't cut on gasoline. As a result they are cutting on their desserts. Message 23879951 While we talk about the impact in the world economy of 2.5 billion new workers and BRICs we are not looking carefully that there are 2.5 biilion stomachs. As they move up the food scale the economy is going to change abd there are a lots of impacts.

What do you think I go work in those God Forsaken places? because the people want the gadgets! I live off it! The glamour of the hight tech thing is clouding the huge amount of money that will go in food.

Go easy on the Moslems. Halal food means billions of dollars! The Arab countries have 75% of the world's oil reserves, so they have much money. Because Brazil has very big Arabic origin population and we don't do gun boating, we can sell a lot fo food to those guys. We go there gran the market while other are sleeping. Those kind of stuff we should be discussing here.
