My mind is a little fuzzy here too. LOL. My original note said it was 1958, but in thinking back it was 1956. A TWA Constellation built by Lockheed. A four engine prop plane, some may recall it as it had three tails:

I was in the Marine Corps at the time and being transferred to the east coast for school. I was supposed to be on a Navy plane for that trip, but, being a low ranking enlisted man I kept getting bumped from those flights. At the last minute, practically, they had to put me on the commercial flight to get me back to school on time. Fate... indeed!
