I once guided a tour of Japanese foresters and forest owners through my area. Among that group was a little wiry fellow, an old man, who in another era would have been a Samurai warrior. He said his way to catch a wild hog was to jump on their back and stab them with a sword. Wild hogs in his area destroyed forest plantations, and were therefore to be eliminated. I have no doubt he had done so many times. This man was old, at least 70. But he could have taken on any six of the rest of us and come out victorious.
