I find it very interesting that when problems get fixed, or moved towards being fixed, news coverage stops - I guess incremental progress is boring if it's not your money ;-)

Given that the bank loans and large state enterprises are in better shape than 3-4 years ago.

I find the negativity in this email excessive - yes, the land speculation will blow up, might even result in jail terms - ( maybe someone bribed or intimidated and independent asessment of land value)

How is the sky going to fall in China running surpluses, a high savings rate, and China running surpluses ?

Maybe a combined stock market and real estate boom then crash ?

Why the negativity about China, outside of a few overvalued sectors ? Sky going fall after the 2008 Olympics ? Or does everyone believe lower exports to the United States will cause Asia to catch cold ?
