AG in his book says US must increase interest rates to keep inflation at between 1 and 2% said the WSJ.

Greenspan say that while this is necessary, the FED will face populist resistance from Congress and even from the White House to FED's policies of price stability.

He said that if the FED succumbed to this pressure, inflation will be 4 to 5% until 2030, accordgin to the WSJ.
