Sidney, you've been spouting some real foolishness, but that comment really takes the cake. Your thinking would have have ALL people living in caves and dressing in fur, starving during droughts and living hand-to-mouth. Nobody would be "left behind" because nobody could get ahead. What irritates me about your thinking is that you think that is somehow more "moral" than a society that rewards accomplishment and talent.

More silliness. You'd prefer a barter economy? You want to trade your beads and shells for arrowheads?

What you're advocating is at least natural -- we'd have herds of deer and packs of wolves. Personally, I prefer to be warm in the winter and have food in the fridge.
