ElM, 25 years ago the Forest Research Institute in Rotorua was working on ethanol from cellulose [pine trees]. It wasn't economic then and it won't be economic now [when coal, gas, nuclear, photovoltaic and other energy sources are brought on stream to compete with oil].

I don't think paper prices will be going up because of ethanol from cellulose. Not significantly anyway.

Do you mean that cellulosic ethanol could be produced from recycled newspapers?

Is there anything to to prevent the bottling of "Old New York Post" using the proper federal permitting?
