Thanks. I just hope that BB comes out of the closet one way or the other so that I can get on with the program.

There's a lot of things I would like to do financially, but some of these strategies are contradictory and somewhat depend on how the Fed intends on going about dealing with the US debt predicament. So I keep waiting, virtually 100% in CDN cash/physical gold here -- not investing, not borrowing, and notably, not loaning anything out to anybody either.

I find it interesting that my own behavior is reflective of the "seizure effect" we've been seeing -- I personally do not trust these markets at the moment, and as people wait on the Fed for some interest rate policy clues, on a net net net basis nothing is really going anywhere here. Volume is falling, but daily volatility is increasing -- maybe that's just the effects of unwinds, but it could also indicate a general unwillingness to take and hold a position very long for fear of getting left holding a bag which has unknown contents.

FWIW that's certainly the way I'm looking at things until at least September 18th
