I think Americans, who feel the war not at all, are just confidant that the NEXT President will get us out. No one is even listening to Bush, but they have no confidence that the congressional (D)'s can accomplish anything. They don't have the numbers. Bush can't formally commit the US to Iraq without going through congress - so it's just bullshit. Look for a blue America in '08. Then, it'll be up to them to fix the mess - just as it was with Clinton. Its not good enough. There has to be a fundamental change in the way Americans approach their gov't to correct what is very wrong.
