Hip hip hooray - we've managed to turn Fallujah from the biggest sh%thole in the world to the third biggest sh%thole in the world (its now ranked above Darfur) for a mere cost of 1/2 trillion dollars! Way to go Bush! Hey maybe spending money on children's health or education would also be a waste of money but I would argue it would still be better to have put the 1/2 trillion dollars in a pit and burnt it cause it would have meant less dead and maimed Americans. If I could find a dollar index chart that went back to when Bush took over it would show its gone from 120 to 78 - so far. It looks like we're heading to 50. But its like Cheney says - deficits don't matter. Funny thing is we simply may not be able to afford to stay in Iraq another ten years - seriously - I mean no money to buy gasoline type thing.
