I think corporations running our world would be a bad thing as well. I don't think them having a powerful impact on the world is a bad thing, or that having a powerful impact is the same as totally running everything. You didn't even develop your corporations run the world argument much before. Instead you like to call them drug dealers. It might help if you have some structure to your arguments, even possibly to the point of making formal syllogisms with your premises leading to conclusions. Normally that level of formality in arguments isn't necessary but it might help you develop an argument that you haven't been able to so far.
