I lived through Stagflation, That was something. I do believe the recession has started and we do not have enough manufacturing jobs or new technologies this time to cure it.

USA is way past the point where other countries would be in a deep crisis. Americans need to import/consume much less and export much more, and this needs to be very soon. Doesn't that mean more savings?
