No one said LBO debt was toxic, I stated that the LBO commitments are a cause of the current credit crunch.

The LBO commitments that the banks have not funded yet will either be funded and sold at a loss, or the banks will fund them and hold them instead of selling them at a loss to private investors. Either way it will restrict the bank capital and ability to fund other loans.
