I would be against using zoning laws to stop this. Its not like building a tannery next to a 5 star restaurant or a large noisy factory in a residential area. Maybe its changing what the county used to be but I don't think that's the government's business to stop. Its not an attack against other people. Preventing toxicity, intense noise or smells, or similar problems is one thing. Trying to make a county or area remain static, the way it was for ever is quite another.
