TJ, I know you and Hu do democratic counting by consulting the politburo, seeing which you prefer and declaring that to be the public will since all Chinese are clones who think the same. But some people prefer to see a different method of voting, such as each separate person expressing an opinion.

That's a strange concept in some quarters. Saddam did it, and he got 99.9% support, which was good for the Guinness Book of Records in popular support.

Hu could hold elections like that. Make it dangerous to vote in a different way. Make it dangerous to not vote.

In Taiwan, they have voting a bit differently from that.
