Bushies paid the Sunnis (with our money) to kick out the foreigners and then armed them. These are the old Baathists who Bushies demonized 3-4 years ago, Saddam's guys. The problem is, now this has enraged the majority Shias. So the Maliki government is finished and El Sadr has 100% turned against us. SO how stupid and shallow is the "surge progress" when you enrage the majority in order to placate the minority. Bushies always side with the Saudis, who are SUnni, as is Al Qaida. And the Saudis fund Al Qaida. All this mess is because Bush-Cheney refused to share oil revenues and fought hard to give Exxon types a monopoly. Think of how much we are really paying for our gas. 20 bucks a gallon when you add in Bush's corruption and war costs? All of this could have been straightened away to begin with with something Bush avoids -- diplomacy and working with others.
