For instance, Miss American Pie...many thought it meant the American way of life, and the three men I admire the most, the Father, Son and Holy ghost...was interpreted to mean JFK BKennedy and Martin Luther King...when he may have only meant the Father Son and Holy Ghost...etc..

Many thing were left to interpretation, and the author said he meant it to be that way..
