I heard on some sports show a few weeks back that the Braves run in the '90's peaked the local kid's interest in baseball and, as result, Georgia now produces more professional ballplayers that any other state. We've ALWAYS cranked out a lot of football players. I think I mentioned that one of our three high schools (Northside High) is the current state champ, but did you know that one of the others (Warner Robins High) was the NATIONAL champ a few years back? Not bad for a small town, huh?
