They must have figured out a way to record MOU over WiFi since they do offer the ability to use your regular bucket of minutes.

If the two services were priced similarly, the femtocell solution would be substantially more popular since it allows you to use your normal cellphone. The two T-Mobile handsets that are eligible for the @home service look like they are from 2005.

At this time, the T-Mobile HotSpot @Home Add-On is not available on the following plans:

Regional
Prepaid
SmartAccess
Take Control

You can still get the benefit of great coverage by getting a T-Mobile HotSpot Phone. Minutes used over Wi-Fi in these circumstances will be handled as standard minutes usage based on your plan.
