Wow. First earnings release and they disappointed the street? That's not good. That will deflate the stock price a bit.

I think your estimates are not the right ones maybe? This earnings report is the one announced in the prospectus which means it was preannounced and not a surprise. I think those estimates might be for next quarter? Could that be it? Because you can't really miss or blow out your preannounced IPO stated 1st quarter earnings, it just looks bad. Having said that sometimes individual investors sell off stocks on this first qq announce so if VMW takes a hit it might be wise to scale in.
