"Everything said now about Iran was said about Pakistan."

and your point is?? Actually i am more afraid of pakistan and the potential for al queda there than iran. If both have it i am doubly afraid. The regime in iran is primitive, and terroristic in its behaviour. They cannot be allowed to develop nukes. They may never use them on israel but they will use them to intimidate our allies in the middle east like saudi arabia, egypt, jordan etc. Do you want them to go nuclear too?
Your logic is flawed because its based on israel and not on western interests in the middle east--oil and otherwise. Israel is protecting its neigbors from initimidation as strange as that may sound. And that fact has not gone unnoticed in moderate arab states or by the optometrist and his patron iran. I give the optometrist no more than one year in power before the sunni majority overthrow him and take power in syria much like the shiaa did in iraq.
