CH, the way I would stop paying taxes is by ceasing investment. But if it was serious enough, I might choose to tell the IRS to go to hell. That is unlikely in the case of the USA but I can imagine it in the case of NZ, which "owns" me as a state chattel.

People are not free as they imagine, they are nearly all Uncle Toms suffering Stockholm Syndrome in tribal collectivism. It's ironic that they disparaged communism so much while they themselves are just a piece of property owned by the collective.

When the individual owns the state as a piece of property, by way of tradeable citizenship, then they might claim to have a measure of freedom. While they are state serfs, they are NOT free.
