so you are a McCainiac?? I agree with that 100%. there used to be a slogan about the lottery in the US. You gotta be in it to win it. In the case of iraq "You gotta win it to get in it." Your view now is deterrence containment using all forms of military force unlike MQ who wants air power and in the end nukes. I agree with you with the proviso we need the Tuscans to at least supply the food and Sangiovese for the troops.

ps re italians, locally........the village has a chapel commemorating a modern day miracle.

50 men were rounded up in the village and transported to the russian front by the nazies ...they all made it back alive.....every year there is a procession in thanks giving.

those 50 were merely from one village so befor one goes critisising italians for not fighting, remember they were guests at concentration camps too.
