I have thought of it. Pre 9/11 of course you assumed that you would be flown off to Cuba or some damn thing and they would then negotiate the release of some assholes from an Israeli prison or something. We no longer can think that way as we now know they want to use them as weapons. I do a fair amount of flying to Las Vegas every year and we always treat ourselves to first class. I've decided as has my wife that we will die in the air, not slamming into some building. I was quite a scrapper when young and learned that fights are won or lost in the first seconds and because of that can respond with incredible violence immediately without discussion. That will be my reaction and I will be breaking knee caps and gouging out eyeballs and tearing noses off until they kill me with their box cutters. But they are NOT going into the cockpit while I'm still alive I know that for sure.

Checking every passenger is a good idea. They may not like it, but if they wear a turban, they deserve it..
