Is that true for getting press passes? I seem to remember during the whole Jeff Gannon business that the claim was made that he wasn't vetted and that they had backed off some of that level of security in recent years. It used to be you couln't get in the same room with the Presdident and the article posted seems to say the same thing.

It is odd that Hsu wasn't picked up very early on.

When my daughter was to escort the Pres. and his entourage, no one knew for sure who was escorting whom until the day of, but they actually told them they did a CIA back ground check on all of them..they said they talked to their first grade teachers.
