the author claims we can't withdraw (I disagree). Why post an article you disagree with? Re. "worst mistake in US history" - you should have some perspective. We've fought a bunch of unpopular wars in our history - 1812, Mexican, Phillipine Insurrection, Vietnam. Over time the unpopularity of the wars haven't been that important. By prevail, we need to simply prevent either AQ or Iran from taking over the country. The left and media have gotten us into a situation where everytime a car blows up its setback for the US. We need to get out of that mindset.
