since GPS is "receive only", it doesn't make a difference. Won't help anybody track you. So tell your mistress to relax. ;-)

Actually depends who pays the bills in the house - if his wife has Verizon Chaperone activated (or whatever its equivalent other cell providers), his wife can tell if he is in some expensive restaurant with a floozy. Well, maybe just if he's in an expensive restaurant (she can grab a camcorder once location is known, to confirm).

From Verizon (reproduced here because info is in popup window w/o link)

"Chaperone lets you easily locate your family members handset from your Verizon Wireless phone or PC - in real time, at any time.

Chaperone with Child ZoneSM lets you define a zone - specific area, such as a school or summer camp. When your family member enters or leaves the zone with their handset, Child Zone will automatically send an alert to your phone with the time and location ...."

I think those Sports Bars could be set up as a zone, and many women feel men are akin to children so it's justified... :-)
