Common sense is passe', but it's a hard trait to lose. There has to be some rethinking about what's happening. There is almost nothing positive that can come out of this cut.

The root of the problem is in RE and worthless assets, not in stocks or WS.That problem will not be cured with a cut. Other than a knee jerk boost to the mkt, I can not see this rally lasting long enough to warrant not hanging on to shorts.
