It wouldn't be my answer either and we do spend the highest percentage. I think single payer is the best way to cut costs and still insure everyone. But no pol will stick their neck out on single payer.

It is interesting to see Bill Clinton's girlfriend (Angela Merkle) forsaking socialized medicine in Canada to get Cancer treatment in the US. I guess even being a candidate for PM can't stop a billionaire's daughter from trying to stay alive.
