It is the truth S. You think these guys are dumb and i agree with you that the iraq war has turned out to be a fiasco. But regardless of what you or i think about the war, the decision was made at the outset to pay for it thru inflation and devaluation. The antiwar folks talk about bankrupting america but in reality the US can turn things around quite quickly with this devalued currency while the euros will have to wait their turn over time and play catch up as the US currency strenghens. Euros led the last leg. The US is going thru its recession quite quickly and the euros will feel some of the aftershocks long after walmart is showing record numbers again. No one is leaving the dollar just yet. Its all about liquidity and the euro is nowhere close to replacing the dollar. And again from this point on as dollar gets stronger who would choose not to be in it after the haircut they took to pay for the war. Folks like chinton make me laugh. The sit there in europe drinking their cappucinos and have on understanding of whats going on in their country. They talk of foreclosure snd inflation but folks in the US are doing fine thank you and as i said earlier, its not like the foreclosed folks are living in the park. They just rent at lower cost and spend the rest. What a country!!!
