I will add the Phillipines and Thailand. It seems that wherever modern day islam is, so is heinous violence.

On an annualized basis, almost as many Thais have been killed by muslims in southern Thailand as US soldiers in Iraq.

An unbelievable fact ignored by the world.

"A fairer question would be..."

There are many other questions that you can yourself and ask and answer for yourself but there was nothing unfair about the question I asked.

Answer a simple question. Should we 'Allow Islam to expand without limitation or not'? Do you advocate violent opposition to the spread of Islam or not? Spenser does and is not such a coward about declaring it.

You didn't answer it because you were not yet ready to deal with it. If you live long enough, someday you will.

"...the basis of the fear of Islam, is the violence of some of it's adherents in their zeal to force others to accept Islam.

Of course, this is the basis of at least some of the terrorists and terror events in the world. However, it isnt to get people to accept faith in God it is to get people to accept their authority over regions of the world and ultimately their authority over a one world government.

" Since no one has yet determined a way to figure out who is a violent Muslim, and who is not, and Muslims in general do not condemn the violence of their peers, the rest of us are left to guess.

No, the rest of us are left to use our heads and sound principle to reason it out.

Violent Muslims? If a Muslim sees a heinous and brutal rape or attack on an innocent child, should that Muslim intervene and stop the attack, even using violent force if that is the only effective intervention? Would that be the bad Islam you refer too? Of course not, it would be a righteous and good application of just principle.

Violence used to secure or advance political agendas is nothing new, that is what all militaries do.

Violence or any form of coercion to change beliefs about God is practically speaking impossible. Using force to cause regions or countries to change their doctrinal loyalties has obviously occured throughout the history of human beings. That, however, has never brought about a difference in the hearts of men. 2% of believers from any period, location, or doctrine are for real, the rest are patriots to the artifacts of their religion, region, ethnicity, or tribe. The 2% of each have no problem spreading peace and goodwill toward one another.

Have Peace,
Gem
