The abuse of civil rights pattern is ingrained and familiar, and of course torture is now common practice for the US.

What bothered me more than anything is none of the other students stood up to rail against the police.

it didn't seem like a lot of people in that auditorium. it was pretty mellow except for that one dude. i think people were scared the police would attack them as well.

But tasering the guy after they clearly had him subdued? That's frightening.

they had him physically subdued, but he wouldn't shut the fark up. that's why they tased him, even though he was no physical threat to anybody. tasing somebody for talking? that is very fucked up.

just imagine what these pigs are like when they don't have 30 video cameras trained on them. this kid should be able to sue for millions.

OR - Maybe Kerry as the only(supposed) adult there could have intervened - surely the guy did NOT need to be Tasered with 4 - 6 Police holding him down. Total stupidity - Welcome to the Police State of the USA!!! Sorry to be OT. Thanks - Paul
