fp_scientist, BPZ Energy (BZP) -- As I like to say, its better to be lucky than smart! You obviously know a lot more about this stuff than I do, hopefully I can learn something from you.

On 1/3/07 (the date of the post that you responded to in your post), BPZ had an FD market cap of about $220 M, and had yet to discover a drop of oil. Today it has an FD market cap of about $580 M, and has tested one well at about 6K bopd and, so far, has tested 1,700 bopd from an appraisal well.

This means that since you are bullish on the stock now, but didn't like it on 1/3, something must have changed in your mind between 1/3 and today regarding the value of the stock. Something so dramatic that it is enough to offset the fact the company's market cap has more than doubled during this time. Have you changed your mind about the company's prospects for its gas-to-power strategy, and if so, what happened between 1/3 and today to do this? If not, then how much oil do you think these guys have found and/or may potentially find? Do you really think they are worth north of half a billion $$$ without considering their gas?
