It's true Petreus is a stooge of Bush, that is clear. He may be a fine general and all but he salutes the commander in chief and does what he's ordered to do, including lie and spin. Just like Colin Powell when he lied in front of the UN for Bush. Although I will say this for Petreus he didn't lie when he admitted Iraq might have nothing to do with the security of the USA.

All Generals who have refused to lie for Bush have been forced out, in case you hadn't noticed. The former General in Iraq calls Bush "AWOL on terrorism" and a complete failure as commander in chief.

Petreus was also in charge of training Iraqi troops. That has been a huge failure and waste of billions.
