Excellent point MJ. What I think will happen is that if Obama does not want to be her running mate, he would go out and directly attack her in the final months. And why shouldn't he do so at that point when he has everything to gain. Let us wait and see.

I really don't think the US is ready to elect the first woman president[esp. when her name is Hillary Clinton] and first Black vice president..I'm also speaking for myself..I want change in leadership style but that's a bit too much for me during this critical time in our history..perhaps if I thought more of Hillary, I'd think differently...the GOP knows this too..

I think Obama should just say NO to HRC and stay clean..otoh, if she's the type of POTUS those who are worried fear, Barack's good qualities will stand out even more and benefit him in 2012?..I hope he listens to Cornel West: "to thine own heart be true."

Hillary wouldn't WANT Obama unless she was running against Rudy and probably not even then.

If she ran against Rudy she'd need to hold the Blue States and he'd be a real asset there.

Hillary would need a Southern VP, as would Obama, to try and peel off some Southern or more likely Southwestern voters.

Richardson would seem the BEST guy for either of them. UNLESS they could get Warner from Virginia to jump in instead of running for senate.
